I am the District Librarian for ROWVA District #208. I am the librarian for 7-12th grade. I teach computer skills for the 5th and 6th grades. In addition to all of those duties, I am the technology assistant for K-12. ROWVA is a 5-12 1:1 Chromebook District. K-4 have the Android tablets from our pilot programs. This means I am the technology "mom" for all the grade levels.

My decision to go back to school was a long time in the making. But a reevaluation of my reason for becoming a teacher in the first place and the fact that my degree and certificates do not reflect the work I have done with technology pushed me to Lamar University in Digital Learning and Leading. Master's program. And truthfully - they had me at "Growth Mindset!"
